Work Packages
WP1 Management
The main objective of WP1 is to define and constitute the coordination structures that lead to appropriate, dynamic
development of the Blue RoSES project, and guarantee communication between partners, stakeholders, as well
as with the European Commission (EC).
WP2 BlueLab
The core aim of the Blue Lab is to define innovative services, products and business models by involving stakeholders in the identification of opportunities arising from the project activities.
WP3 System Design
The core aim of the System Design WPÂ
is to prototype middleware architecture and tools for connecting marine robots, seen as IoT nodes, to leisure boats onboard home automation, marinas IT infrastructures, and smart devices worldwide. Its basic achievement corresponds to the design of the overall system and single modules.
WP4 System implementation/integration
The core aim of this WP is to prototype middleware architecture and tools for connecting marine robots, seen as IoT nodes, to leisure boats onboard home automation, marinas IT infrastructures, and smart devices worldwide. Its main achievement corresponds to the implementation and proof of functionality of the overall system and single modules.
WP5 Pilot validation
The core aim of this WP is to conduct pilot tests in two sites:Â
Ocean Revival underwater park (Portugal) and Viareggio harbour (Italy). The pilots are aimed at testing remote access to underwater sites, as well as waters and seabed monitoring inside marinas.
WP6 Dissemination/communication
WP6Â promotes the awareness of new business models and market opportunities through the
development of innovative services and products for marinas, yachting and IT SMEs. At the same time it aims to increase public awareness of how the introduction of robots and IoT at sea can
support economic growth and environmental sustainable use of the marinas and coastal areas.
